Chad Rapsey is a Chartered Accountant specialising in turnaround, restructuring and insolvency. He works with business owners, directors and individuals facing financial pressure to assess their position, understand their options and implement solutions. His experience spans engineering, manufacturing, mining, retail, property, hospitality and Registered Clubs. This diverse background enables him to quickly understand how a business operates, identify pressure points and determine whether it can be stabilised, restructured or wound down in an orderly and responsible manner.
Chad advises on informal turnaround strategies as well as formal restructuring and insolvency appointments. In personal insolvency matters, he provides clear, measured guidance to individuals dealing with unmanageable debt, creditor pressure or bankruptcy considerations, ensuring they have the information and confidence to make informed decisions. Known for his ability to listen carefully and genuinely understand each person’s circumstances, Chad provides open, honest and solutions-focused advice tailored to the realities they are facing. He is valued by referral partners for his technical expertise and responsiveness, and by clients for his calm, steady guidance during challenging and often stressful periods.
He previously served on the ARITA NSW/ACT Division Committee (2016–2021), chaired the Hunter branch of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (2012–2015), and has contributed to advisory engagement with ASIC, AFSA and the ATO.
